Noelle Leone’s “Leone Collection” Recognized by World Gold Council
Leone Collection from Noelle Leone selected by
Esteemed World Gold Council Juried Panel
April, 2010 (Stamford, CT) The future looks bright for Lauren Fiabane, emerging jewelry designer and owner of young company Noelle Leone. Fast on the heels of being designated a “Rising Star” by the JCK for upcoming JCK-Las Vegas (June 4 -7, 2010), the talented designer has received recognition once again. Swiss-based World Gold Council, the international and respected authority for the gold industry, has selected Fiabane’s regal Leone Collection as an example of vision and excellence in gold jewelry design.
Fiabane’s Leone Collection was selected from a highly competitive pool of designs, which encompassed a vast selection of submissions from the best and brightest talent in the rarified world of jewelry. The Leone Collection was among a small number of winning designs chosen for the esteemed World Gold Council juried collection of new gold jewelry designs, as edited by a Blue Ribbon Panel of industry experts.
The Leone Collection ~ Strong, Regal and Fierce - echoes the art and soul of classic Italian design, yet enlivened with a spirit of youth and innovation. This noteworthy collection embodies the strength and regality of the antiqued lion’s head door knocker that inspired the company’s brand and the fierce sophistication that is the Noelle Leone signature look. A few of the recognized pieces of the collection are the bold hammered gold ring adorned by the lion head knocker motif, a pair of exotic antiqued yellow gold lion head knocker earrings with cable chain fringe, and an exceptional yellow gold bib necklace featuring two antiqued lion head knockers with multiple strands of gold chains draped between them. The Leone Collection is also offered in sterling silver.
Established in 2009 and officially launching in June 2010 at The JCK Show, Noelle Leone has enjoyed a meteoric rise in the jewelry world. The exceptional debut collection, which includes the recognized Leone Collection, immediately captured the attention of industry professionals, the media, and retailers alike.
“These last few months have been so exciting and gratifying. Receiving recognition from such prestigious organizations as the World Gold Council and JCK has been an honor,” said Fiabane. “I’ve been passionate about jewelry design since I was a young girl, so all this work has been a labor of love.”
Hand crafted to provide an exquisite expression of individuality, Noelle Leone jewelry adds effortless beauty to our everyday lives as well as those special occasions when only the finest will do.

When I think of ballroom dancing I think of flashy costumes and plastic rhinestone jewelry. There is no better place than the dance floor for such extravagant decadence. Although I would love to see the cast of Dancing With the Stars wearing 10 carat ruby pendants and stacks of pave champagne diamond bangles, the thought of an emerald earring flying across the dance floor is enough to make me drop dead. But among the snake arm bands and the sequin tattoos is a gem in the rough. I watch Dancing With the Stars not only for Maksim Chmerkovskiy, but more importantly to see what jewelry former Fly Girl Carrie Ann Inaba has on. Read the rest of this entry »

I am inspired everyday by so many different things. It seems like my most original ideas come from my everyday interactions. It could be the angle of a building, the curve of a pillow or the little nose that sneaks into my peripheral view throughout the day. This is what inspired me to design the Dog Nose Bracelet that you can find in the “One-of-a-Kind” section of the Gallery page. My golden retriever Kayla is my office assistant. Even though her random romps can be more of a distraction than a help, she always finds a way to lighten my work environment. Read the rest of this entry »

Named from the Greek ios , or violet, iolite at its best is a rich violet blue that might remind you of better-known gems like tanzanite and sapphire. Although it is not well known, iolite has a long history.Viking travelers would use pieces of the stone as a polarizing devices to help determine their location. By looking through the lens of the iolite, they were able to determine the position of the sun which guided them in their travels to the New World and back. Another secret beauty of the iolite is its extreme pleochroism or its ability to displays different colors when viewed from different directions. This chameleon behavior makes iolite match just about any ensemble. This makes it a very difficult stone to cut. When properly cut it will look more or less violet blue. And when lit at different angles, iolite can show a watery blue, a more saturated blue or a honey yellow, making its pleochroism a very valuable attribute of the iolite. Read the rest of this entry »
